Lamar Abdul Thompson, a 27-year-old male, was fatally shot on a Saturday night in September 2017 in Camden, New Jersey. The incident, which also left another 26-year-old man wounded, occurred at a local gas station. An officer in the vicinity heard the gunshots and discovered the injured man, whom he transported to the hospital. Shortly thereafter, additional responding officers found Thompson, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
