On a Friday night in Camden, New Jersey, the sound of gunfire pierced the air in the Branch Village area. It was approximately 10:30 p.m. on November 20, 2015, when a shooting surveillance system registered the shots, prompting a police response. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a car riddled with bullet holes and surrounded by shell casings, but the vehicle was empty.
