On a summer evening in Camden, New Jersey, a shooting incident claimed the life of Christopher Mitchell, a 34-year-old Black man. The fatal event unfolded around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2014, at the intersection of 7th and Clinton streets. Mitchell was shot at this location and subsequently rushed to Cooper University Hospital for medical attention. Despite the efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival at 8:39 p.m.
