He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds in what was believed to be a drive-by shooting.
Emergency services rushed him to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

Robinson was remembered as a mentor and a camp counselor who was actively trying to better himself.
