In the seaside town of Neptune, New Jersey, a life was abruptly cut short on a Saturday night in the autumn of 2018. Randolph Goodman, a 43-year-old man, was in an apartment in the vicinity of Old Corlies Avenue when he was fatally shot on November 10th. The incident prompted an immediate response from law enforcement, who descended upon the scene to begin the painstaking work of piecing together the events of that evening.
