On a tragic Friday afternoon in Neptune, New Jersey, Shaezeel Collins, a 37-year-old male, was fatally shot and killed on September 29, 2017. The incident, which also claimed the life of another man, unfolded on the 500 block of Sayre Street, leaving the community in shock and mourning.
Responding to a 911 call, Neptune Township Police discovered Collins and 37-year-old Frantz Paraison inside a vehicle, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Collins, a resident of Toms River, was pronounced dead at the scene. Paraison was rushed to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. At the time of the incident, law enforcement officials stated that the investigation was in its early stages and actively ongoing.
