In the evening of January 15, 2020, a young man named Marquis Forman, a 27-year-old male from East Orange, was shot in Newark, New Jersey. The incident occurred around 7:42 p.m. on the 700-block of Springfield Avenue. When Newark Police officers arrived at the scene, they found Forman suffering from gunshot wounds.
