In the late summer of 2022, the life of 18-year-old Rainie Best was tragically cut short in a South Bend, Indiana, home. On August 9th, police were dispatched to a residence on Johnson Street where they made a grim discovery. Inside, they found the bodies of Rainie, a female, and 24-year-old Phil Honer. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds, and an autopsy would later confirm that these injuries were the cause of their deaths, with Rainie having been shot in the head and back. The case was imm ...
