On a spring evening in Newark, New Jersey, a man's life was cut short by gunfire. Dashon S. Ragland, a 30-year-old male from the nearby city of Paterson, was shot on Sunday, April 12, 2020. The incident occurred at approximately 5:37 p.m. in the 900 block of Frelinghuysen Avenue.
