In the evening of November 19, 2017, a burst of gunfire shattered the night in a Newark neighborhood, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. Yasin Hamilton, a 26-year-old male from Newark, New Jersey, was fatally shot in the 900 block of South 18th Street. The incident occurred at approximately 7:18 p.m., and despite the quick arrival of medics, Hamilton was pronounced dead at the scene just eight minutes later.
