In the early hours of a Saturday morning, the quiet of an Irvington, New Jersey, street was shattered by the sound of gunfire. On October 16, 2021, just after midnight, police responded to a report of a shooting on Arverne Terrace. There, they discovered 24-year-old Alexander Saye, a male resident of Irvington, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:56 a.m.
