In the late afternoon of March 23, 2014, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of an Irvington, New Jersey street, ending the life of 20-year-old Djames Ulyste. The young man, a male resident of Irvington, was inside a vehicle with three other individuals when the car was targeted by an unknown assailant or assailants who opened fire. The sudden violence left Ulyste fatally wounded.
