On a Tuesday night in Vineland, New Jersey, the sound of gunshots shattered the evening calm. Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Landis Avenue at approximately 10:21 p.m. on December 20, 2022, where they discovered the body of a man who had sustained apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was identified as 35-year-old Russell Workman, a male resident of Sewell.

The investigation into the shooting led authorities to a suspect, Desmond L. Scarbrough-Brown, a 28-year-old from Vineland. ...
