On April 9, 2017, the aspiring rap artist, known to many as 'Chris Feddi,' was walking along East Chestnut Avenue when he was fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting. The investigation into the death of the young father of two
quickly led authorities to a suspect. Jules Black, a 30-year-old man from Vineland, was identified and arrested just a day after the shooting. He was subsequently charged with first-degree murder and weapons offenses in connection with Rodgers' death.
