On March 9, 2024, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Vineland police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at the Asselta Acres Apartments on Axtell Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 35-year-old Dashon Terrell Lee in the parking lot, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Lee was immediately transported to Inspira Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
