In the early morning hours of September 16, 2017, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace outside a sports bar in Buena Borough, New Jersey, leaving two people dead. One of the victims was Damon A. Jones, a 34-year-old male from Bridgeton. Jones and a companion, 23-year-old Talisa Colon of Vineland, were found inside a vehicle in the parking lot of the MVP Sports Bar on Wheat Road.
