On December 3, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan, a tragic incident unfolded involving the deaths of multiple individuals, including Robert "Bobbie" Burgan. The perpetrator, James D. Burgan, a 28-year-old factory worker, fatally shot his wife, Joyce Marie Burgan, their four children—Linda K. Burgan, age 1; Cathy S. Burgan, age 3; Robert "Bobbie" Burgan; and Roger A. Hill, age 6—and his wife's friend, Billie Jean Henry Nolan, age 22, before taking his own life.
