In the fading light of a Tuesday evening in Detroit, a life of promise was tragically cut short. Devin Lewis, a 29-year-old man and co-owner of the Water Station on Woodward Avenue, was closing his business on November 14, 2017, a routine he had performed countless times. This night, however, would be his last. As he and his brother, along with another employee, prepared to head home, they were ambushed by two masked assailants in a violent robbery that would end in Devin's death.
