Sheila T. Srock, a 14-year-old girl from Birmingham, Michigan, tragically lost her life on January 20, 1976. On the evening of January 19, 1976, Sheila was babysitting at her sister's home near Woodward Avenue and Maple Road in Birmingham. During this time, an intruder broke into the house. Sheila was shot three times in the abdomen and was found partially clothed. Despite the violent nature of the attack, her infant niece, who was also in the house, was left unharmed.
