In the winter of 1976, a quiet, affluent neighborhood in Birmingham, Michigan, was shaken by a brutal crime that ended the life of 14-year-old Sheila T. Srock, a Caucasian female. On the evening of January 19th, Sheila was at her sister's home, dutifully babysitting her infant niece. The ordinary evening turned into a nightmare when an intruder broke into the house.
