Valerie Chalk, a 34-year-old African American woman, was one of the eleven victims of Benjamin Tony Atkins, also known as the Woodward Corridor Killer. Valerie Chalk was found strangled on February 17, 1992, at the Monterey Motel in Highland Park, Michigan. Her death was part of a series of murders committed by Atkins between December 1991 and August 1992.
