Ocinena Waymer, a 22-year-old African American woman, was found strangled on August 21, 1992, in Highland Park, Michigan. Her death was part of a series of murders committed by Benjamin Tony Atkins, also known as the Woodward Corridor Killer. Atkins, who was an American serial killer, raped and strangled 11 women in Detroit and Highland Park between December 1991 and August 1992.
