Scott T. Stewart IV, a 31-year-old Detroit Police Officer, tragically lost his life on August 11, 2002, while performing his duties. Officer Stewart was responding to a call about a group of men gambling on the sidewalk in the 11200 block of Corbette. Upon arrival, he discovered one of the men was carrying a concealed handgun.
