In the spring of 2022, the life of 27-year-old Darrius Vance, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Memphis, Tennessee. On the evening of April 3rd, Vance was at the Ascend at Goodlett apartment complex when he was fatally shot. The incident prompted an investigation by the Memphis Police Department, which quickly led to a suspect.
