Quintae Jhyke Cooper, a 12-year-old boy from Saginaw, Michigan, tragically lost his life on June 1, 2008. Quintae, affectionately known as "Tae," was an innocent victim of a random drive-by shooting. On that fateful day, he was hanging out with friends near his grandmother's house in the Sheridan Park neighborhood, dribbling a basketball, when he was shot in the back around 6 p.m. The incident occurred near the intersection of Tausend and Livingston.
