Jalen Clarence Lewis, a 20-year-old Black male from Flint, Michigan, tragically lost his life on Monday, March 3, 2014. On that day, Jalen was the victim of a fatal drive-by shooting, an event that cut his young life short and left his family and community searching for answers. He was rushed to Hurley Medical Center, but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. At the time of his passing, he was a father to a son and a daughter, whom he loved dearly.
