In the summer of 2024, the city of Flint, Michigan, was once again confronted with the tragedy of youth violence when 18-year-old Mekhi Lenn-Robert Forward, a young Black man, lost his life. On the evening of Friday, July 12th, what should have been an ordinary night at his home turned into a scene of sorrow and loss.
