In the winter of 2019 in Flint, Michigan, a young Black man named Mark Covington, who was 24 years old, lost his life in a violent encounter. On Wednesday, February 27, Covington was found deceased inside a residence located in the 900 block of West Moore Street. The cause of his death was determined to be a fatal gunshot wound.
