In the early hours of Friday, May 21, 2021, the life of 19-year-old Delano Smith was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire that also claimed the life of 21-year-old Erion Parker. Smith, a Black male from Flint, Michigan, was among a crowd of people at a large party on the city's north side when the violence erupted.
