William Lee Coppage, an 11-year-old boy from Flint, Michigan, tragically passed away on March 13, 2015. He was a sixth-grader at Burton Glen Charter School in Burton, MI. The incident occurred on the porch of a house in Flint, where William was inadvertently shot by his cousin, Tovonte Jones. Jones, who was 25 years old at the time, mishandled a firearm, leading to the fatal shot that killed William.
