Freddie Porter, a 42-year-old Black male from Caro, Michigan, was found deceased on April 6, 2017. His body was discovered in the trunk of his own Chevrolet Malibu at the Mitchell Softball Complex in Corunna, Michigan. The investigation, led by the Michigan State Police, determined that Porter had been murdered in Flint and his body was subsequently transported to Shiawassee County.
