In the summer of 2021, on the eve of what should have been a joyous celebration, the life of 15-year-old Tayveon Crowder was tragically cut short in Flint, Michigan. The young man, known affectionately as 'Bear' to his loved ones, was fatally shot on August 10, 2021, just one day before he would have turned sixteen.
