On a Thursday evening in Flint, Michigan, a heated argument outside of a liquor store escalated into a tragic and fatal encounter for two men. The incident, which unfolded on September 14, 2023, at Royal Liquor on South Center Road, resulted in the death of 51-year-old Jabbar Brooks, a Black/African American male. Brooks, who was originally from Greenville, Mississippi, had been living in Flint.
