In the spring of 2015, the life of 22-year-old Davaunte O. Thompson, a Black/African American male from Flint, Michigan, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Saturday, April 25, 2015, Thompson was near the corner of Flint Park Boulevard and North Saginaw Street when he was shot multiple times. He was rushed to Hurley Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day, on Sunday, April 26, 2015.
