Quayshaun Edward Shaun Lewis

In the late summer of 2020, the life of Quayshaun Edward Shaun Lewis, a 29-year-old Black man from Flint, Michigan, was tragically cut short. On the evening of August 21st, gun violence erupted on Jamieson Street, and Lewis became its victim. He was rushed to Hurley Medical Center, but the injuries he sustained proved to be fatal. Remembered as an intelligent and generous individual, his death left a void in the community he was passionate about serving through volunteer work.
