In the summer of 2015, the city of Flint, Michigan, was grappling with a surge in violence that left families shattered and a community on edge. It was in this climate of fear that Jason Raydell 'Scooter' Sutton-Richardson, a 25-year-old Black male, became another victim of the city's bloodshed.
