In the late spring of 2015, the life of 17-year-old James Doshie Jr., a young man known for his love of basketball and a smile that could light up a room, was tragically cut short in Flint, Michigan. On the evening of May 22nd, a triple shooting occurred at the Park West Apartments, leaving Doshie and two others with gunshot wounds. While the other two victims survived, Doshie succumbed to his injuries five days later at Hurley Medical Center.
