In the summer of 2014, the life of 24-year-old Derrius Edwards of Flint, Michigan, was tragically cut short. On June 29th, he was discovered deceased, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds in a violent encounter that would be classified by authorities as a homicide. The brutal nature of his death prompted an intensive investigation as law enforcement sought to piece together the events that led to the young man's murder.
