In the summer of 2014, the life of 24-year-old Derrius Edwards of Flint, Michigan, was tragically cut short. On June 29th, he was discovered deceased, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds in a violent encounter that would be classified by authorities as a homicide. The brutal nature of his death prompted an intensive investigation as law enforcement sought to piece together the events that led to the young man's murder.

situation that would ultimately lead to the identification of several individuals as persons of interest. As investigators delved deeper into the case, their focus narrowed on two suspects: Joshun Edwards and Dartanion Edwards.
