In the late summer of 2023, the city of Flint, Michigan, was rocked by a violent act that claimed the life of 21-year-old Johnny Brown VI. A Black male, Brown was fatally shot on Thursday, September 14, 2023. The incident also resulted in the death of another man, 51-year-old Jabbar Brooks.

The shooting occurred outside a liquor store in Flint. Following the incident, Johnny Brown VI was transported to Hurley Medical Center, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Known for his ath ...
