In the early hours of a September morning, the life of Marquis Deone Sanders, a 44-year-old Black male from Flint, Michigan, was tragically cut short. On September 2, 2023, outside the Continental Club Grill in the 3400 block of Industrial Avenue, gunshots shattered the night's quiet at approximately 4:15 a.m. Responding officers discovered Sanders with grave injuries.
