In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Battle Creek, Michigan, a violent encounter tragically cut short the life of 32-year-old Xavier L. Embry. On November 9, 2014, police responded to a shooting at a residence on Parkway Drive at approximately 3:30 a.m. The incident that unfolded within the home would have fatal consequences for Embry.
