Deborah Lynn “Debbie” Christner, a 28-year-old White female, died on May 22, 2015, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in the quiet hours when most of the house was still asleep. She had been staying at a home on the city’s east side, and the morning began like any other—until a single blast ripped through the stillness and turned an ordinary residence into the center of a devastating investigation.
