Tami Sue Nickles, a 48-year-old woman, was found deceased on Friday, May 5, 2023, inside a home in Kalamazoo, Michigan. An energetic and beloved fitness instructor and animal lover, she had gone to the residence on Autumns Way Boulevard in Oshtemo Township to pick up her three dogs. It was a trip she tragically would not survive.

Authorities were called to the scene, and it was quickly determined that her death was a homicide. An investigation led police to identify Robert Nizzardini, 57, ...
