Shequita Lewis, a 33-year-old mother of nine, tragically lost her life on July 15, 2019, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was found in the kitchen of a home on North Church Street with a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at Bronson Hospital. Shequita, known affectionately as "Quanna," was deeply involved in her community and dedicated to helping others overcome adverse childhood experiences.
