On a summer afternoon in Detroit, a man's life was tragically cut short in a sudden burst of violence. Leroy Dechun Davis, also known as Shawn, was standing outside a Family Dollar store at the intersection of Tireman and Southfield Service Drive on July 29, 2015. He was waiting for a friend when an unknown individual appeared and opened fire. Struck by the gunfire, Davis died at the scene.
