On January 4, 2013, Terrence Hill Jr., age 24, was killed during a robbery in Detroit, Michigan. Terrence, who was home on leave from his position as a Naval Petty Officer Second Class, was sitting in his vehicle while on a date when he was approached and shot by an assailant who took his wallet and shoes.
