In the early hours of June 2, 2016, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Detroit neighborhood, tragically ending the life of 26-year-old Jarion DeShawn Beauchamp. A Black male and father of two, Beauchamp was standing in front of his home on the 14000 block of Kentucky Street on the city's west side shortly after midnight when he was shot multiple times.
