In the early hours of July 6, 2019, the life of 31-year-old Brian Anderson, a Black male from Detroit, Michigan, was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting on a ramp of I-94. Anderson and another man, Malcolm Drake, had connected with 26-year-old Demetris Nelson through the social networking app Grindr.
