On a summer evening in Detroit, the life of Allen Dejuan Baker, a 41-year-old man, was abruptly ended by gunfire. On August 19, 2019, as he was pulling up to a residence on Alter Road, situated near Mack Avenue on the city's east side, an unknown assailant or assailants opened fire.
