Zachary James Currie, an 18-year-old from Ypsilanti, Michigan, tragically lost his life on July 24, 2016. His body was discovered in the front yard of a home in Augusta Township, a nearby area. According to reports, Michigan State Police responded to a call around 9:30 a.m. on that Sunday, finding Currie fatally shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the police immediately began investigating his death as a homicide.
