In the early hours of September 17, 2019, tragedy struck on the west side of Detroit, forever altering the lives of a local family. Mohamad Al-Edani, an 18-year-old male, was inside a residence in the 6300 block of Memorial Street, near Paul Avenue. At approximately 12:30 a.m., while he was lying on a couch, an unknown assailant fired multiple shots, fatally wounding him.
